SPOT BILLED PELICANS OR GREY PELICAN (Pelecanus philippensis)

They are member of the pelican family. The breeding grounds of this bird is from southern Asia to south of Indian and also in Sri Lanak..Anyway these birds are migratory birds to Sri Lanka and some remain in the island as residents. They always Choose the habitat as lagoons and large reservoirs.
