Spotted Sandpiper
This Spotted Sandpiper is in non-breeding plumage (hence no spots), and was feeding at a nearby freshwater lake. The Spotted Sandpiper is an interesting bird to watch, the bird incessantly bobs about while searching for food.

Excellent close-up shot! All I have met are either in breeding plumage or the youngsters. Hence this is a very refreshing image for me!
 
That's where they are. No wonder I couldn't find them. They're in Texas!
Lovely shot of this sandpiper. It's so hard to get a photo of them with their constant movement.
