Spotting Flies (Muscicapa striata)

One of the birds that visited the garden in Devon most days, and sat perched doing what these pretty little birds do. It was quite special for me, as not only was it a first for me to take a picture of, but a first time I had seen this species in around ten years.

Well executed shot. Cannot find any of these on my local patch this year. Population apparently down 90% nationally, which is a great shame.
