Spring stonechat (saxicola torquata)

Bernard Brunet. Field sketch.

For Arthur and Steve...a bit delayed,my announced stonechat,Steve.

The stonechat is here the first passerine to come back from the south in early spring:this year I saw the first one as soon as the 15 th of april.
Scientific name
saxicola torquata
Sorry:in my description, please read"15th of march" instead of "15th of april"...

Thank you so much Bernard! A wonderful gesture from a talented artist. This is a perky, cocky little stonechat in his tux and tails! Looks like he's off to impress the ladies in his spring plumage? Very well done Bernard my friend! Very best wishes from Steve.

Thank You very much,Steve for this nice comment :t:

I am glad you like him ;)

Magnifique Bernard. :t::t: Beautifully brought to life!
