Spring-Summer - 230
Spring-Summer - 230 ...

One more shot of this
skulker ...
... taken in a
different wetland ... and
giving a nice view of
the forehead shield
and horn ...

A lovely wetland
... much closer to
to our home ...
... but, sadly ...
completely degraded
and nearly destroyed
now ...

The presence of horn
makes it special
among birds ... bringing
him closer to dinos ...

A new study pblished
very recenty ... comparing
the genome of birds
and dinosaurs has
concluded that birds
are not the descendents
of the latter ... they
are dinosuars themselves
... who, due to their
flying ability escaped
the catacysmic event
that wiped out the
giants ...

Watch him in typical
habitat ... giving call
in his trademark style ...
