Late summer ...

These Oriental Darter
fledglings
were confident
enough to leave the
nest ...
... but ... still
some way away from
going for a swim ...

They look to be placed
on the perch by
their doting parents
... after a good wash
and asked to wait
patiently ... till they
get food for them ...

And very patiently ...
they sat there in great
discipline ... though
being kids, played
their darter games and
poked fun at each
other ...
