Spring-Summer - 324
Spring Summer - 324

There is a well known
Hindi proverb ...

" ... andhe ke haath
lagi bater ..."

... it refers to a
blind man ( andhe )
... who
in a moment of extreme
good luck ... while
groping for his way
through the maze caught
hold of a bater ( quail )
... an event
... that is very
unlikely even for people
with good eyes ...

... so it was that
kind of luck ...
... that day

It also highlights the
very shy and
elusive nature of this
small ...
... 5-7 inches
difficult to shoot
bird ... partly due
to nature of
their habitat as well

... and on that day
she simply walked straight
into the dirt path we
were driving on ...
... albeit briefly ...

This lovely lady
... and the brief
encounter may be seen
in a video-clip ...
