Springtime Goldfinch (Carduelis tristis)

This handsome fellow has just a few feathers left to change over to be fully dressed in his summer finery.

Yes, a new picture, you all would have had a good laugh at me the other day, I had my camera set up outside while gardening and when I heard the birds coming in to the feeder I'd run over to the camera. Of course half the time they'd be gone by the time I was ready or I'd have scared them off... The things a person will do to get bird pics. LOL
