So different from the Plovers I get to see. A beautiful image of this lovely Plover Dick!
 
Nice one Dick. Saw quite a lot on our trip but they were very wary. Eventually found a cooperative pair on our friends lawn in Christchurch.

New Landcruiser--was it a Lotto win or the housekeeping!!!
Just spent $4000 for a new cylinder head on my Nissan.

And i have found that birds does not pay much attention to you when you are sitting in a car , your new landcruiser is a very good hide place for birding , good luck and have fun ;)
