Square-tailed Nightjar
Saw this on an evening drive in central Kruger NP. Stand to be corrected on the id.

That's a super bird, Helen and a very good photograph of it too...I know that the ones we have in the UK fly at Dusk / Night, but do yours roost on the ground?

@Weasel1 I am also UK. :) Apparently, it often roosts on the ground. That said, this was at night, and I understand it is not unusual to see them on the road at night!
