Sri Lanka Frogmouth (Batrachostomus moniliger)

Taken at Backwoods Camp where a male and female were perched together in bamboo thicket. The image is of the female - undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay at Backwoods and one made all the more memorable as our bungalow was called "Sri Lanka Frogmouth"! All the tents and bungalows at the camp are named after birds. Anyone thinking of birding in Goa must visit this place - the food is excellent.
