Starling Feast (Sturnus vulgaris)

I was trying out a "Bird Box Camera Kit" which my daughter had given me for my birthday, see top right of feeder. I was watching it on my television in the lounge, when there was a sudden influx of Starlings. I rushed into the dining room and grabbed my camera for this shot.

I could crack up laughing. A lovely idea to watch them. Hope they do not show up during lunchtime. LOL.
A wonderful camera toy to watch our feathered friends but why do you use a cage to protect the feeding spot. Crows, foxes ??
