Starling
The weather's been a bit rough the last couple of days, hasn't it - all my birds seem to have virtually been blown away and the feed gets blown off the shed roof!

Here's a Starling from early February.

A nice setting for this well captured Starling D. This is the plumage I like best in these guys.

A lovely detailed shot and setting Delia, many tfs and here also the weather as been terrible.

Great capture, Delia; those leaves make an interesting setting for it. (I've watched the Pigeons getting blown off course while trying to get to the garden, and they're strong flyers... it must be hell for the small birds, especially getting to cover if a Sparrowhawk is about (I've seen Sparrowhawks attack no matter how bad the weather)
)
