Starling
Saw a movement in the hedge so started shooting, and was pleased with how this image turned out.

Either him, or one of his pals got taken by a cat yesterday. It hides under the shed roof and whizzes out when he hears a bird on top. He's not usually successful. Not my shed, garden or cat, so little I can do about him

Trouble is, the birds are now keeping away, though not sure if the weather hasn't got something to do with that - it's really wild again today.

Great shot Delia. I get quite a few of these in the garden also - love the changes they go through, from the spots to the iridescent greens and purples.

Well captured Delia. Maybe cat laws are a bit different here , anybody with a cat has to have them chipped , desexed , kept in at night and if out in the daytime they are supposed to build a run in the garden that the cat can't get out of . If that doesn't work I have a cat trap. Caught 6 once in a matter of days and handed them over to the council
