Stay away from my dinner! (Caracara cheriway)

I caught this duo having a disagreement. The Crested Caracara didn't want company for dinner. This went on for at least an hour. The vulture would retreat to a nearby fence post. The Caracara would go up on his limb. If the vulture made any advance towards the meal, the Caracara would pounce.

That is great. I love this Caracara as you can see from my avatar. Viera wetlands is a wonderful place to get close to birds. Thanks for sharing that action shot!
