'Still Hunting' (Falco tinnunculus)

I came so close to this Kestral when I got the photo. It is doing what is called 'Still Hunting' where the Kestrel perches and scans for its next meal. In this case it was probably birds it was after.

In close proxmity to this Kestrel were Tree Sparrows, Corn Buntings, Reed Buntings and Chaffinch seeking the protection of trees and hedges to avoid being predated on.
