Stock Dove
These are birds I really struggle to identify in flight... in fact you can read that as "I can't"!

So I was really pleased when Peter saw these flying over and doubly pleased when they landed near the hide.

Not a Lifer, but only the second picture I've got of one - the previous one (in Wales) was very distant.

I'm sure we must get them round here, but I've just never seen any.

Ooooh! I'm so jealous!!! We saw one or two on the Delta, but I didn't get a shot. Still waiting and hoping. Still carefully checking all the Woodies I see to be sure. But so far, no luck. We don't have them up here at all, and they've become pretty rare further south as well.
