Stone cold

As you perhaps have guessed by now, I was fascinated - once I started looking closely - by the many forms the frost had taken. In one spot it looked pebbly, in another fuzzy, in a third it formed tiny "scales" or "feather fans", and here it had formed bundles of spiky hollow straws. I was also struck by how it accented the edges and veins of the leaves.

This is really one fine image Doc. It's like nature took a paint brush to this leaf and stem.

It can't leave you stone cold when you come across such a beautiful natural phenomenon.Well spotted and well captured ,Doc.
