Stonechat (Saxicola torquata)

This morning I drove to the sea-side in spite of the very dull weather. In fact ,it was quite bleak what with the freezing cold and the strong wind.I usually try not to select an ISO higher than 400 but today I selected 640ISO. I got pictures of one of my favourite birds . She parked herself quite close to my car.

Isn't she cute!! They really are such lovely little birds aren't they.

She's a beauty JM, super capture...I usually shoot on ISO400, and hardly ever go much above that, but this looks really good.
 
It is a delightful shot, and certainly does not look as though you had had to use a high iso. It's a great pose, nice perch....the grey background is good, very often the sun makes these shots too harsh. I like it very much
