Stonechat (Saxicola torquata)

This morning I drove to the sea-side in spite of the very dull weather. In fact ,it was quite bleak what with the freezing cold and the strong wind.I usually try not to select an ISO higher than 400 but today I selected 640ISO. I got pictures of one of my favourite birds . She parked herself quite close to my car.
Habitat
Rocky peninsule and sandy beaches
Location

Scientific name
Saxicola torquata
Equipment used

You've found a super setting for this adorable bird. Easy to see why it's a favorite. Sure made a gorgeous capture. Well done.

With all the trees in my backyard, I usually am always at 640ISO.

This is a beautiful image of this Stonechat Joelle! Though she's looking a bit down in the dumps here.

Mmmmh, very lovely. A good perch and exposure time is not a problem with these cuties.

Awww, such a wistful expression! Looks like she wishes she could sit inside the warm car with you ;)
