Stonechat (Saxicola torquata)

This morning I drove to the sea-side in spite of the very dull weather. In fact ,it was quite bleak what with the freezing cold and the strong wind.I usually try not to select an ISO higher than 400 but today I selected 640ISO. I got pictures of one of my favourite birds . She parked herself quite close to my car.

What a mega cutie is this one Joelle!! Lovely detail and color! I typically shoot at 1600 because I am mostly interests in BIF. But I shoot raw and PP everything and the D800 has so little noise. Before I got this camera I was more conservative on ISO settings. tfs it!!

a beauty joelle and a super capture and nice info too.many tfs.all the best margaret.
