Stonechat (Saxicola torquata)

A pair of stonechats visited the very same clump of high grasses where I had seen a willow warbler and a sedge warbler eleven days before. The male stonechat seemed a bit wary and didn't show that well ,so I am posting a photo of the female.
Thank you everyone for your nice comments on my image of a whitethroat.

A beautiful image Joelle. It's good to know you've found a place much liked by this and other birds, and this looks an ideal perch where you can set the bird against a defocused background (something I find tricky because getting down to the bird's level, which is often necessary, requires supple joints!).

what a beauty, Joelle!!! marvelous portrait of this lovely stonechat, with such warm colours and complementary backdrop, top marks, many tfs!!!
