Stop bickering children
It just looked to me like the Chaffinch was acting referee between the two House Sparrows. Thought it appears to be a young one begging - not sure Dad is that interested though.

Another shot of a white-tailed Chaffinch, which the IDer's say is not leucism but normal summer moult. Never seen it before though.

A beauty of a shot and caption Delia, many tfs and today I saw a Spadger with nesting material in it's beak, it is 16 degrees here at the moment.

Lol, my first reaction too D. The Chaffinch with its referee plumage on doing a good job of overseeing these two. Fabulous picture!!!!
