Strange
This Mockingbird perched on the edge of the bird bath and kept raising its wings as it does in the grass to roust some bugs. It must have been there a good 5 minutes doing this action. Never took a sip of water or bathed. Just kept waving its wings. Not that any bugs were going to pop out of the water ;)

Lol, silly bird! I guess it never hurts to try (lol). Great action picture of this mockingbird still looking for insects. Excellent capture and picture. TFS KC!!!!!!

Maybe it was trying to attract some of its mates KC!!!! The Babblers go through the same behavior here!!! Well done on this fine capture and well narrated!!
