Strange (Mimus polyglottos)

This Mockingbird perched on the edge of the bird bath and kept raising its wings as it does in the grass to roust some bugs. It must have been there a good 5 minutes doing this action. Never took a sip of water or bathed. Just kept waving its wings. Not that any bugs were going to pop out of the water ;)

That is strange. My two were displaying their wings yesterday but they seemed to be playing and trying to outdo the each other. Great job with the capture and hopefully you'll find the reason behind this act.
