search ... when
a group of four of
these flew across the
path we were driving
along ... only one sat
on a reed-stalk ...
very briefly to give
just two shots ...

An outstanding find and a beautiful peek-a-boo image, Alok! It has a profile like our Thrasher.

Some fine focusing going on here with all those reeds Alok. A beautiful capture of this rarity.
 
It is certainly not a bird I have ever seen Alok.... it is a lovely shot.
