Striated Grassbird (Megalurus palustris)

These are seen all day every day. From tree top to ground level. Very vocal especially when flying. They squawk away flying further and further higher then drift down quietly. This one was in a small shrub within 10 ft from the house.

Oh my!! What a lovely picture you've taken of this grassbird Clarence... not a species we see coming into the Gallery very often.

I think it is a clearer image than the current one in The Opus, so I've now uploaded your picture to the article.
