Sulawesi black pigeon (Turacoena manadensis)

First I thought it was endemic to Sulawesi, but in I read somewhere that it is found on Maluku as well!? (Left my "Pigeons and doves of the world" in Sweden.)
The male was displaying for the female.

I'm sure your source is better for ranges for the world's pigeons. Mine say that this bird ranges in Sulawesi, including Togian, Butung, Banggai, but that it also ranges in the Sula Islands, which would put it in Western Malaku Province. By the way, thank you very much for sharing these rare photos and also on ABID.

Anyway, according to "A Guide to the Birds of Wallacea" by Coates, Bishop & Gardner, the Sulawesi Black Pigeon is endemic to the Sulawesi & Sula subregion; Sulawesi, Banka, Lembeh, Mateeawu, Manadotua, Togian Is., Muna, Butung, Banggai Is. (Peleng) & Sula Is. (Taliabu, Seho & Mangole).
