The subalpine zone (bog pines) in Capcir,Pyrnes orientales,july 2008.
Ahh what a scenery, Bernard. Dream place. Is there many birds at those lake in summer?
 
No,Aki! No birds on the lakes. In the pine woods all around,the crossbill was the most abundant bird species;coal and crested tits were very common too and of course the chaffinch. The mammals were: roe and red deers and mouflons ;)
Ah! and some ring ouzels too...
