Summer Tanager (Piranga rubra)

Got me a hitch-hiker today because I have never seen him before in my yard or just about anywhere period. I think he is a Summer Tanager. Rather a nice fellow and feel blessed to see him. I admire God's beautiful birds and he is rare to me anyway. Though my Daddy in Georgia has said he's seen them there. The camera worked pretty well today after spending over 500 dollars for the new one that is supposed to be here tomorrow for laughing out loud. I think mine has been dropped and heat soaked too many times. I'm happy to post a picture. Haven't had much to post lately.

Well.... it'll be good to have have two cameras working, with this one as a back-up while you get used to the P900 (at least I guess... is that the one you decided on in the end?)
