The closest I can get is to a Pansy Butterfly of some kind (Junonia sp), but I don't know well the Oriental Butterflies, so that hint might be wrong. I'd suggest to post it in the Butterflies section of BF, many experts there will ID it for you! :t:
Splendid shot :clap: :t: ! I don't know much about Sumatran butterflies but this looks like the female Blue PansyJunonia orithya found on Taiwan. A quick check of the Sumatran butterfly list shows the Blue Pansy is found on Sumatra, too.
