Sunlit Shoveler (Anas clypeata)

A Shoveler in the golden afternoon sunlight at Strumpshaw Fen last Saturday. I have posted several photos taken on that day but, looking at the grey, wet weather outside today, it is hard to believe it is less than a week ago. I hope you will forgive me posting so many shots taken at that time. Ron
