Sunny Sanderling (Calidris alba)

I spotted this plump little Sanderling feeding on the tideline at Gorleston yesterday. It didn't seem at all bothered by my presence and I was able to watch it scurrying about a few metres away for about 15 minutes. It's not exactly sunny here today! Ron
