Surprise Cafe Visitor (Rallus Aquaticus)

So after my cold walk round CWP, a stop for a hot coffee at the Visitor Centre/ Cafe. (All right, coffee and a cake!)
They have a good bird feeder there, always good for Great Tits, Blue Tits etc. but this was the first time I've see a Rail there. As always it was quite elusive.
[A brief but productive visit to Slimbridge yesterday so the pictures will keep coming.]

Well spotted and captured, Alan! This is one I've still to get. And so is the Smew which I've never even seen.

He's probably late!!....most British Rails are!!

.......and Mac should be thankful!!........no Smews is good Smews!

(Sorry.....I've got my dafties head on today .....must be that Christmas think coming up).
