Swallow Convention

Last week a huge swarm of swallows were bug hunting in a neighbor's very large mowed back lot.

They swirled around close to the ground - Some sort of whitish small bugs had hatched and the swallows were catching them. They were so fast it was difficult to photograph. However, the swallows would take a break and rest on the dock.

I love seeing Swallows all lined up like that. Though mine are usually way up in the sky on telephone wires!!
