Swallow in flight (Hirundo rustica)

Here it goes something I was dying to share but the flood of duties and activities I'm having in the last weeks keep me away from here persistently, sniff, :-C!!!

I suppose I should have frozen the wings, and avoided having vegetation coming out of the water in the frame but that's asking me for too much in my first attempt, LOL! :-O I'm very happy with this result though, and had to go into my gallery to share it with everybody!!! :bounce: I hope you like it, at least a bit!!!

My My Marian this is Truly Awesome one masterful aerial capture many many thanks top work.

Like it much more than a bit, it's a super flight shot. Great stuff.

:bounce: Delighted with your response to my little feathered arrow, a million thanks for your kindness looking and writing your encouraging comments!!! o:)

I owe this pic to Nigel Kiteley (loads of thanks, Nigel, ;)), who was by me and gave me the tips on how to deal with this kind of shot I only got 5-6 keepers and this is my favourite. I posted another one in my "illustrated diary".

Jack, my skills at cloning only allows me to delete a little twig against a blue sky. ;) I like the vegetation though but thought others might think it's distracting. But it's not for me. ;)

Gavia, no, you are not mistaken!!! :-O

Aki, chuffed to have this among your favs!!! :bounce: The settings are in the equipment description: the shutter speed wasn't fast, only 1/250s, I'm quite surprised the pic was not a whole blur! :eek!:

If I have the time, I'll share something else very soon! Cheers, everybody!!! B :)

A brilliant image Marian :t:, super flight pose - a little blurring gives movement adding extra dimension (Time = 4th ;)) to image.

I have ammended instructions to my pic.
