Swift in flight (Apus apus)

One can just see the eye,and the outline of a beak!!!
I spent ages waving the camera in the air each time one of these birds passed overhead.
But thought I would post this one,as the 1st of this species to add to my gallery.

Very well taken. Definitely not the easiest of species to capture so well.
 
For a Swift that's a super shot, Christine. I've given up trying to photograph these birds.

Oh well taken Christine - I have deleted everyone of mine, this is a nice shot of these so so difficult birds to capture.
 
Thanks all,for your comments.Really did not expect any for this shot.These birds were so close when they zoomed overhead.an expert photographer,or someone who understands cam settings and is quick off the mark,really would have caught a great shot.
