Pushed the limits of cropping a bit with this one. Don't remember, but it's either a 30 or 35% of the frame, but the surrounding elements to the babbler weren't all that attractive so I just wanted more of a focus on it.

Was watching a group of 3 or 4 babblers the other day, I'd seen them for quite a length of my walk and at one point they were all congregating in the dead bush that this one has just taken off from. They seemed to be testing it's viability as a nest site as they spent quite some time inside, pulling on branches, shifting things around chatting amongst each other. One of them even brought a twig back to try and arrange, though didn't seem to have much luck. They seemed fairly interested in it but I'm not sure if they'd made a choice. I'll have to go and check it out again.

Anyway, this is a white-browed babbler. A very charismatic bird, very sociable and vocal. A pleasure to watch.
