Tasmanian Pink Robin (Petroica rodinogaster)

The pink robin (Petroica rodinogaster) is a small passerine bird native to southeastern Australia. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Measuring 13.5 cm (5.3 in) in length, the robin has a small thin black bill, and dark brown eyes and legs. The male has a distinctive white crown and pink breast, grey-black upperparts, wings and tail. The belly is white. The female has grey-brown plumage.(info courtesy of Wikipedia)

wow what a bird.three super birds and captures gerry love this.many tfs.all the best margaret.ps the magpie moved first more interested in collecting twigs for a nest.
 
Many thanks Gerry. I must warn you about the SX60, it produces a large number of soft photos compared to the SX50. It is to powerful and needs to be held very still.Dick.
