It was last Friday, when visiting the Nymphenburg park in Munich, I had the great fortune to spot more roosting Tawny owls! I did manage to do a proper Gouache study of the one of them and here it is..

I love how he's nestling into that tree trunk and the two oak leaves hanging down.
