Christchurch Park, Ipswich - this owl is well known locally, having taken up residence in this hole in a tree near a well used footpath when it was in full leaf, and not worked out that in winter he is now fully visible in the daytime.... Struggled to get decent focus and sharpbess on this in poor light and with the very soft plumage, and with the weight of the lens slowly tilting the camera on the tripod.
