Temminck's Stints (Calidris temminckii)

They are so small that they are barely visible even from a short distance. They also move about pretty fast while foraging. Shot on the bank of a lake. Another first for me.

I would usually go away from such birds cause I have difficulty identifying them. So hats off to you.
 
What makes you think they are Temmick's, S K? The legs look dark, although they could be mud covered/shadowed. The full breast band does suggest Temmick's I agree .... Hmmm
