Tenderised (Cuculus canorus)

Ive only ever seen this bird at long range over the years, and not many times, so to see this very obliging one was a real treat. Its vision for spotting these juicy morsels was really amazing. Intense midday sun made photographing it very awkward.

Great Cuckoo shots,Tom and as you say, it's amazing how they can spot the hairy larvae from way off,no wonder we normally can't get near, at what distance can they spot us? ;); Very well done. :clap:
