I don't know where they went, but our resident pair of Mockingbirds has returned from their winter vacation. They left prior to our January 6th snowstorm, but are now back. This is the male, who was apparently VERY hungry today. The whole time he was eating, the female was peacefully roosting on a higher branch of the tree.

LOL You're no doubt looking forward to some feeder battles now they're back Adele?

What a great feeding pose image this is - thanks lass.

Thanks, Delia and Sue & Simon. The Mockingbirds were guarding the feeder in the morning, but when I returned home at noon they were no longer there. Instead, one-by one, a Chickadee, a Wren, and two species of Woodpecker were able to eat from the feeder!
