The Grey
.... but not Gandalf LOL

Wandering along to another lake, there was a Grey Teal sitting on a fallen branch. Sweet wee ducks these.

they're indeed beautiful, subtly coloured, ducks, Delia, and you caught this one in a great setting with superb reflections in the water, top marks, many tfs!!!

Ya know the way it is perched it looks like it has a very, very, long toe ;)

This is excellent Delia. Swirling patterns of green ripples and reflections, and in the middle of it all this, sharp and clear, this beautiful duck. Pure tranquillity. Perfectly exposed. I like this best of all your images from Australia.
