The Hammer (Emberiza citrinella)

Went for a walk over the heath with my bruv and his mutt yesterday. See quite a few of these about, but couldn't get near em, as the mutt kept going mental. I was going to go back there on my own again today, to see if I could get a better shot, but its dull and overcast here, so I guess I will have to make do with this un.

A very nice shot of the yellowhammer . I haven't seen one for ages . I think you are lucky to be able to photograph these beautiful birds.
