Taken during my last session within the International Waterbird Census.
At -4C (and sea temperature at 7C), it was funny finding out that my chest waders were not wholly waterproof as they were supposed to be ;-)
Funny? I would not have been laughing :eek!: Then again, I'd have been wearing wool under the waders, and wool does stay fairly warm even when wet. Great lighting and mood on this one. I assume you collected the equipment before the tide came in ...?
