the Missing Cyanotis
After telling Marian that I'd try to Video these amazing creatures for her THEY VANISHED! And here we are, about 6 months down the track, and who should arrive!!! Hence my recent postings! Here's another, rainbow lorri sharpening it's beak in the background. I've noticed that these Honeyeaters greet each other with a wide, openmouthed "yawn-like" gesture, lowering the head and opening wide! A

Great looking bird the Bluefaced Honeyeater. Pity we don't get them down here so its always nice to see one posted!

Nice one MC, they certainly have been down in their numbers around here this year although I did see some at Gympie a couple of weeks back
