From the Car Park it is 2/3 mile over the Saltmarsh to where the Owls Hunt for a Pensioner weighing 10 stone it is a long way to carry the600mm lens but yesterday it was worth it. I arrived to find the Owls already out and Hunting this one headed straight for me I had trouble focusing for the Grass and weeds but managed to get a few shots and had a good session.Headed home as the Sun set over the Firth of Forth turning the sky Red with the sight and sound of thousands of Pinkfoots heading back to the Reserve across a pink Sky, when i reached the River it was full of Waterfoul reflected on the Water in the fading light, Just Magic. Then home for a meal a seat at the fire with a Wee Malt Whisky. "The Perfect Day"
