The Pros and Cons...... (Buteo lineatus)

.... of overhead utility lines.

My neighborhood has no overhead lines to contend with but the neighborhood which borders mine does and where I do get the occasional BOP in a surrounding tree they are seldom in perfect view due to the branches. Well it happens that my side yard borders on another section of my area that does have overhead lines and this is what I get ;)

That's life, KC we might have to sacrifice something for the benefit of another. Worth it or not will be another issue. Anyway a fabulous shot of the RSH!

A brilliant shot, the cables certainly have their uses in these circumstances. Your Hawk is beautifully taken, he looks as though he's looking right at you. Lovely colour and setting too.

Very nice shot KC. Yes sometimes the cables do come in handy. The beautiful raptor overrides the cables.
